Cyberflames Becomes an EC-Council Accredited Training Centre in Malawi

Cyberflames Global Limited has become an EC-Council Accredited Training Centre (ATC), expanding access to globally recognized cybersecurity training and professional certifications in Malawi.

The accreditation marks an important milestone in Cyberflames' efforts to strengthen cybersecurity skills and professional capacity in Malawi and across Africa.

EC-Council is a global cybersecurity education and certification organization known for programs including Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), Certified Network Defender (CND), EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA) and Certified Penetration Testing Professional (CPENT).

Through its Accredited Training Centre programme, EC-Council enables authorized organizations to provide training, testing and credentialing services aligned with its cybersecurity certification programmes.

Bringing cybersecurity certification closer to Malawi

For cybersecurity professionals and aspiring practitioners in Malawi, access to recognized certification programmes can play an important role in developing industry-ready skills.

Cyberflames' ATC status makes it possible for learners to pursue EC-Council training locally, reducing the barriers associated with accessing international cybersecurity education.

Among the certification pathways available through Cyberflames are programmes focused on ethical hacking, network defence, digital forensics, security analysis and penetration testing.

Building practical cybersecurity skills

Modern cybersecurity requires more than theoretical knowledge.

Professionals need practical experience with the tools, techniques and methodologies used to identify vulnerabilities, investigate incidents, defend networks and assess security controls.

EC-Council's certification ecosystem includes hands-on learning and practical training components designed to help cybersecurity professionals develop job-relevant capabilities.

This approach aligns with Cyberflames' focus on practical cybersecurity capacity building and its broader mission to help organizations and professionals become more resilient against evolving digital threats.

Supporting the cybersecurity workforce

The cybersecurity skills gap remains a significant challenge for organizations around the world.

EC-Council states that its global partner network is designed to help train and certify information security professionals, reduce the cybersecurity skills gap and strengthen cybersecurity awareness.

For Malawi, developing a stronger pipeline of cybersecurity professionals can contribute to the security of organizations across sectors including financial services, telecommunications, government, healthcare and other digitally dependent industries.

Beyond traditional cybersecurity

The cybersecurity landscape is also changing rapidly with the adoption of artificial intelligence.

Cyberflames is expanding its training portfolio to include emerging areas such as responsible AI governance, AI security and AI-related professional skills alongside established cybersecurity certifications.

This reflects an increasingly important reality: organizations need professionals who can not only defend traditional infrastructure, but also understand the security, governance and ethical implications of emerging technologies.

Igniting digital trust

The EC-Council ATC accreditation strengthens Cyberflames' ability to support professionals and organizations seeking globally recognized cybersecurity training within Malawi.

Combined with Cyberflames' broader work in cybersecurity consulting, governance, risk, compliance, data protection and security services, the accreditation contributes to the company's vision of "Igniting Digital Trust."

By making internationally recognized cybersecurity education more accessible locally, Cyberflames aims to help develop the people and capabilities required to build a safer and more resilient digital ecosystem.
